Here’s What We Know About Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s New Baby

We’ll take “names that may or may not start with R” for $400.

Get ready to celebrate because there’s a new addition to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s family. Reports have emerged that the couple has welcomed their second baby. Sources have confirmed this joyful news to People magazine. Vanity Fair has also reached out to Rihanna’s representatives for a comment.

Already parents to a 15-month-old boy named RZA Athelston Mayers, a name paying homage to the legendary Wu-Tang Clan member RZA, it appears that Rihanna and Rocky are once again keeping the specifics of their new arrival a closely guarded secret. The name RZA Athelston Mayers was revealed to the public just before their baby boy’s first birthday.

According to TMZ, citing “sources with direct knowledge,” the new baby is a boy, born on August 3rd in Los Angeles. True to their family tradition, the baby’s name begins with an “R” (both by birth and stage name – Rocky’s first name is Razim, while Rihanna’s first name is Robyn).

Sources speaking to People magazine suggest that this might be Rihanna’s final pregnancy. According to the source, “Rihanna feels her family is now complete,” indicating that this is something she has long desired.

While the couple is sure to share details about their new family member in their own unique style, as they have in the past, one thing is clear: Rihanna is not your typical mom; she’s a cool mom. Remember the dramatic way they introduced their first child to the world during Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime Show performance? It was a far cry from the traditional Instagram-style pregnancy announcements and made for a truly memorable moment.

Rihanna has also been known to share throwback photos, including some iconic shots of her carrying her first child, RZA, captioned with her signature humor. So, we can only imagine the delightful photos and moments we’ll get to witness as Pre-Mystery Baby R grows up. The world eagerly awaits!

In essence, Rihanna breaks the mold of what we typically expect from moms, and that’s part of what makes her so cool.
